Gerald Wigod

Gerald E. Wigod is a graduate of Michigan State University Law School (1966). He has been licensed to practice since 1967. He has extensive trial experience having tried cases throughout the state of Michigan and in Florida. He has practiced before the State Courts, Court of Appeals, Michigan Supreme Court and the Federal Court. He also has extensive experience practicing before many of Michigan’s state agencies.

Lawrence Falzon

Lawrence has focused his 36 year career on No-Fault insurance law, motor vehicle negligence cases, and premises liability. While Lawrence and his firm specialize in large injury cases including death, catastrophic injury, and traumatic brain injury cases; every client is given the same level of consideration and attention to detail necessary for a successful conclusion to their case.

Morten Weisfeld

Morten Weisfeld is a graduate of Wayne State University (1973) and Wayne State University School of Law (1977). Morten has been licensed to practice law in Michigan since 1978. Morten has specialized in the legal issues relating to the victims of motor vehicle accidents. Morten and the firm of Wigod & Falzon, P.C. specialize in cases involving catastrophic injuries, including the rights of the injured, their families, and the professional service providers. Morten’s areas of specialization include personal injury, workers compensation, social security disability and domestic relations. He is affiliated with the State Bar of Michigan, Eastern District of Michigan Federal Court, The Michigan Trial Lawyers Association and the Oakland County Bar Association.

James R. Ekleberry

James Ekleberry is a graduate of Wayne State University (2010) and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law (2013). Licensed to practice law in Michigan since 2014, James has focused his practice on representing motor vehicle accident victims and negligence victims. James primarily litigates first party auto no-fault (PIP) claims and third party auto negligence claims. James joined the firm as a law clerk in August of 2012 and was promoted to an attorney position after obtaining his license to practice law.

Eric J. Rosenberg

Eric is admitted in both U.S.District Courts for the State of Michigan, the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and of course Michigan courts as well. He is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association.

Joseph L. Falzon

Joseph Falzon is a graduate of The University of Detroit Mercy (2010) and the Thomas M. Cooley School of Law (2016).  While in law school, he focused on litigation, participating and winning both the Evidence Competition and the Advanced Evidence Competition.  Joseph also received Certificates of Merit in Criminal law, Evidence, Michigan No-Fault Law, and Civil Procedure II; and, was on the Dean’s List throughout law school. Joseph, also passionate about helping others succeed in law school, was the Teaching Assistant in both Evidence and Alternative Dispute Resolution.  He continues to tutor in his spare time.  Additionally he was a senior member of the National Mock Trial Team.  While in law school, Joseph received the Raymond Burr award for his excellence in Criminal Law.   Before becoming licensed in Michigan in 2016, he was a law clerk with Wigod & Falzon P.C., and is experienced in personal injury.

Travis H. Meyer

Travis is a graduate of Western Michigan University (2008), and thereafter he graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School on an academic scholarship with a focus in litigation. During law school, Travis clerked for Ronald Lowe, Chief Judge of the 35th District Court, serving the Judge in a ground-breaking youth court wherein high school students accused of minor crimes and offenses were tried and sentenced by a jury of their peers. Travis volunteered at the Washtenaw County Friend of the Court, and served as a student attorney litigating for the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office. Before coming to the firm, Travis worked in personal injury with a Detroit metro firm and managed a private practice serving his clients in civil and criminal litigation.

An an accident victim himself, Travis has a special understanding of the needs and challenges his clients face. While traveling home from vacation with his family in 2016, his car was rear-ended on the interstate by a drunk driver in another state resulting in injuries and a totaled vehicle. This experience has solidified his passion to serve those suffering from personal injury and loss.

Travis spends his free time enjoying Michigan’s great outdoors while hunting, camping, and traveling with his family and friends. He is also a volunteer head coach for NFL Michigan Youth Flag Football grades 2-3.


Laura N. Hawatmeh

Laura N. Hawatmeh is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy (2008) and thereafter graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law (2015). During law school Laura interned at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, Michigan Department of Civil Rights, and the United States Office of Special Counsel Federal Investigative and Prosecutorial Agency.

Before coming to the firm, Laura worked in a personal injury firm in Metro Detroit as the managing attorney of the pre-litigation department. She focused on Michigan No-Fault personal injury protection claims, bodily injury claims, and uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage claims on behalf of injured victims.  Laura has dedicated her career to protecting accident victims all across Michigan and takes pride in each individual relationship she builds with her clients. She is recognized for her passionate and aggressive style to achieve successful results.

Laura is also fluent in Arabic.

Brandon C. Hagaman

Brandon C. Hagaman graduated from Oakland University in 2009 where he earned his Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology with a minor in Political Science and Sociology. He then attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School where he graduated cum laude in 2013 and was licensed in Michigan the same year. Prior to joining the firm, he spent two years representing insurance companies in subrogation claims giving him invaluable insight into Michigan’s No-Fault Insurance system.

Brandon spends his free time racing cars competing in SCCA’s Pro-Solo and Solo National Championships. When he is not racing, Brandon spends his weekends volunteering as a driving instructor for motor enthusiasts and for Tire Rack Street Survival School. He also enjoys playing soccer, tennis and golf.
